‘Women of Culture’ is a project by Lucie Böhmová that investigates the cultural background of four women and the difficulties they were presented with, because of their gender and cultural identity. The project revolves around the past of these women but also the present, where they are still facing discrimination and prejudices. ‘Women of Culture’ also includes interviews with the four women, where they talk explicitly about their social identity through the prism of their culture.
